But we won't compromise. Even if the snow starts in your country in November and ends in March, you can always wear beautiful dresses in winter, especially if they are made of wool and have a flower print that will always remind you of summer days.
We have named this collection "The winter flowers' . It is made of a unique yarn: Russian wollen shawls. These shawls have been manufactured in the small town of Pavlovo-Posad since 1795. At the factory they still use 19th century vintage prints.
The shawl is called 'Spring Blossom', and it features the flowers that grow in Russian gardens: primroses, daffodils, peonies, roses and cornflowers.
I discovered Russian shawls when I was 5: my grandmother had a beautiful shawl from Pavlovo-Posad. It was green with beautiful orange lilies, red roses and bluebells on a vibrant green background. I adored this shawl and attempted to make my first dress with it: my grandmother was't happy. So this is the second try. I hope you like it!
Silhouette: shirtwaist bodice, pointed collar and a super full, gently pleated skirt with side pockets. Closes down side with hidden zipper. Buttons and belt are made of the same fabrics as the dress. Closes down side with hidden zipper. The dress is fully lined (viscose lining).
