From 1987 through May 2008 Crispina was a production company, employing 40 and supplying 350 stores with completely handmade home furnishings and clothing, constructed from used wool and cashmere sweaters in the northeastern corner of the good ‘ole USA. I find myself near the bottom of the mountain – cutting the last of the beautifully spongy wool and cashmere felt carefully into ever shrinking components to make my work.
This blanket is a mix of bright red, pink, and earth tone rectangles. Edging is pure silk satin. Blanket can be hand washed with biodegradable soap and dried flat. An heirloom at 36 x 49 inches. Makes a wonderful addition to the back of your couch, crib or carseat
