8.5 x 11 inch 3 color serigraph
Edition Year: 2005
When I broke out on my own doing screen printing a few years ago I did a series of “test” editioned prints to work the kinks out of my printing process. This print was a sort of generational print. It first started as a stencil print, which was then photocopied and transferred to a vinyl record painting. I took pictures of that record and messed with the levels of it in Photoshop. After playing with it for a while this image looked like it could be an art print.
This is NOT a digitally reproduced print. All my prints are hand pulled screen prints using ink, paper, a screen and a squeegee. Each and every one of my prints come from a limited edition, and once it's gone, it's gone!
This print also features lighting bolts in gold ink. Yep, gold ink.
