This particular card didn't have a lot of coating (it's meant to look olde-tymey) l which caused a small bubble to creep in during the sealing process just above his arm. Fortunately this bubble just looks like it's highlighting his arm at an angle and isn't visible straight on. If you would like to see more pictures, please inquire. (I have scrapped other pieces that have bubbles, but this picture of Jacoby was to amazing to let go.)
Each trading card piece is set with crystal clear crafter's glue and non-yellowing varnish to prevent premature aging of the photo. This also helps keep the piece water resistant, although not completely waterproof, so please don't wear in the shower, swimming or during a four hour rain delay.
Once the glass and card have been completely dried, they are set in silver plated bezels with strong crafter's glue.
Free 24-inch 2mm ball chain or 1.5mm in silver included which can be cut to a shorter length if desired, or you can loop your pendant on a piece of leather or ribbon or the remaining pieces of a lucky t-shirt. Please note your preference in the order notes.
Obviously this isn't a licensed MLB product, images come from purchased trading cards. Pieces of the original card will be included when possible.
Every pendant is hand cut, hand sealed and put together with -- you guessed it -- my hands, which means each piece is unique. Be the only one in a stadium of 72,000 or a sports bar of 72 with a pendant like this one.
