I wanted to pay tribute to the Snowman - but also the 'making of one'. Its always this unplanned event. but there is something about that goes beyond packing snow into giant stacked balls. You are creating a litle snow 'being' that will not last, you know this as you grab branches for arms, a carrot for the nose. You forget everything else - and focus on this task - to build a snowman. You laugh and smile - as you and your helpers build a little snow creation that is fleeting - but means something in THAT very moment. :)

Cardinals hold a very special place in my heart. In my soul. So they are part of the magic ;)
