This brightly colored bunting features Day of the Dead Calaveras, but it could be used for so much more! The red, white and blue colors mean it could be hung for an interesting Fourth of July bunting; it also would make a festive decoration for a Cinco De Mayo party. Heck, you could hang this up for Thanksgiving -- I won't stop you.
I made these flags a skosh bigger than my other ones, since there are ten instead of eleven flags. The flags are 7 1/2" across by 9" down, and there are four red flags, three white, and three blue strung across three yards of navy bias tape. The back features alternating solid blue, red and grey fabrics. Red rayon thread in a serpentine stitch adds a decorative element to the tape.
