It makes a very bold statement.
I carved this out emulating leaves under frost in the dead of an Ice Storm. The whole ring is three dimensional and has matte, burnished and also a polished finish. The ring shank is formed to look like a petal frozen in place, and the setting is of different leaves all hugging and grasping the stone (ice). The Stone is African Chalcedony Drusy, Drusey. It looks like small icicles or sugar cubes that have gathered together and has a crystalline surface.
Please let me know your ring size as I will make it to fit. It cannot be sized under a 6. Currently, this ring is sized at a 6.5. The stone measures 20mm wide.
Comes in a black Leatherette pouch and description card with the myth which i created for this ring.
"My... ring" in this myth signifies you. Because it is you, and yours alone.
“Ice and Storm”
In flight towards the heavens,
my swallows fly through an ice storm,
Gracefully flittering and gliding
As if flying in clear moonlight.
They land amongst frosted leaves,
Seeing the beauty of sculpture
for my small hands, gather up
a gesture, a form.
That moment of beauty-
those ice frosted
leaves. Once Gifted to me,
Ice and Storm,
impressions of a great journey
significant for all eternity.

Please give a lead of about two weeks for all orders, they are custom made.
*This ring as pictured is made from solid Sterling silver. I love working in Sterling silver as it does age very nicely and adds a brilliant contrast to the three dimensional form of this ring.
*The ring is also available in Special Silver, which would be marked as .925, but is a special alloyed silver which is very white and does not tarnish, much like Argentium Silver. Please specify which material you would like. Special silver will be slightly more in price, so please allow for this variation when ordering.
Thanks for looking.
