An amazing antique double photo pin comes from Europe and is the focal point of this necklace. The colors in the photos of this couple are so vibrant, especially considering its age! The frame of the pin is very ornate with roses at the top. There are 3 ruby colored stones. I don't know if they are real or faux---but I do know they are lovely!
I have created a chain using previously loved antique components, all coming from well loved pieces of jewelry! Here you go--- chain harvested from an old watch chain, faceted rubies, very old faceted brass beads, rhinestone beads, deep brown beads and glass spacers.
Dangling from the bottom of the pin is a drop made using a faceted ruby, faceted brass bead, rhiestone spacer and a dark brown bead.
This necklace will grace your neck at 18 inches and closes at the back with a vintage swivel clasp that attaches to a square piece of soldered copper.
