~It is a bit dusty because it was lovingly stored in the attic of a large family home in rural Pennsylvania for decades.
~Nicest feature and unusual is the "Gothic arch" shaped face and dial, including the numbering, all surrounded with brass frame.
~Equally wonderful and hard to notice is the "sunburst" pattern on the back. Or is it a halo!?!
~Clock has a striking and unique metallic light-green colour.
~Clock ticks fine for a bit, and then stops. Most likely needs cleaning by dipping in gasoline or a "de-dusting" solution. Clock oil, when combined with dust and then soot from fireplaces, old wood stoves, gas lamps, candle lamps, and old heating units, tended to make a sludge inside over the passage of many decades. This is particularly common in Pennsylvania, where clock is from.

~FUN FACT: Looking for something related? Run it by me; I may have it! It's quite the story to tell. I'm helping my 81-year-old friend David sell off his "stuff": 4 HUGE, stuffed warehouses in Seattle & 3 more in Smokey Point. They are FULL: everything you can think of. A 200-year-old Pennsylvania estate, 2 households of stuff, electronics antique and vintage, carpenter and construction stuff, etc.! I'm going through it, selling it to cut storage. No hard sell or anything. Just a really fun idea! Come and look through tons of cool stuff for yourself or someone else! John V.
