This is an OUTSTANDING old Mexican Biker ring from the 1930's or 1940's era with lots of great details in the design. On the face is a fantastic skull and crossbones with great detailed black enameled eyes. The enamel is in perfect condition which is quite rare. The sides of the ring each have a shield with a large detailed Fleur De Lis. The ring is very large and heavy and appears to be made of mixed metals including brass and copper and some type of other metal mix, possibly alpaca silver. Ring is stamped made in Mexico on the inside. This ring is very HUGE, HEAVY, and substantial. Weighs in at 35.4 grams! Face of the ring measures approximately 1 1/16" inch tall by 14/16" inches wide. This is the REAL deal folks....not like some of those repro's floating around out there. This is the "holy grail" for biker ring collectors....a hard to get skull and crossbones in a larger finger size and terrific vintage condition!
Ring size looks to be approximately a 11.75 to 12 on a ring sizing mandrel. It is in outstanding vintage condition for its age. This one would make a great addition to your collection!
