German Porcelain Pink Paw Bear Tophat Toothpick Holder Victorian Edwardian Era

German Pink Paw Bear tophat toothpick holder. These bears were extremely popular with tourists in the late Victorian era and Edwardian Eras, mid 1880's thur early 1900's. These early german Pink Paw bears are extremely hard to find. Related to the popular German Pink Pigs of the same era, the bears were produced in much smaller quantities. This figure is in excellent condition. It does have one mfg defect in the rim of the tophat which can be clearly seen in the pictures. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Gold Paint on rim is almost completey worn off. The bear sits proudly in front of the hat, pink paw arms outstretched ready for you to take him home. Figurine is unmarked, indicating that it is an earlier piece produced prior to 1921. Measures 2" tall by 3.25" wide. Please feel free to convo any questions.
