Hand turned ash bowl, measure about 6 1/2“ wide and 1 1/2“tall. One of my new experiment, I took an ash bowl, painted it copper, sanded it, painted it black, sanded it and put colored wax on the bowl and buffed it. You can still see the grain of the wood, which is blue-green color. I wouldn’t use it for food, unless for wrapped candy. Decorative texturing was added to the bottom.
All our items are one of a kind and made entirely of salvage or down trees. None are exactly the same, and thus none are perfect, but the slight imperfections are an affect of the handmade quality.
