I made this dish to be multifunctional. It is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. It can be used as a casserole, but is nice enough that you can use it on a daily basis for serving any number of things. This would be great for anything that you bake and then serve in the same dish, like spinach and artichoke dip. Just make sure you don't take this from the refrigerator and put it straight into the oven - to avoid cracking. This piece is dishwasher and microwave safe and all glazes used are lead free.
This piece has two small handles and piping along the upper rim to give it a smooth, finished look. The texture on this is the same as what I've used on a majority of my items - an onion bag and netting and stitch-marks made with clay tools.
The glaze combination I used on this piece resulted in a glossy forest green color. Look at the close-up pictures to get a better idea of the glaze, color, texture and details!
