These recycled Sweater mitttens had a previous life. The backs are made of a heavy duty (meaning warm) sweater that Joe enjoyed while hiking in the Minnesota Memorial State Forest, near his childhood home. The pieces that make up the palms were made from my vast piles of well loved ugly sweaters. They are appropriate for walks downtown and snow angels in the park uptown. Wool happily repels water, so is also great for sliding and snowballs.
Each pair of my mittens is made of felted sweaters cut and sewn in the heartland of America. They are lined with polyester fleece and promise to bring a smile to your face everytime you put your hands in them.
After the snowball fight you can throw them in the dryer on low heat.
Medium mittens fit the average gal or man.
