This is a relatively simple beret with a pom-pom (optional). The pattern calls for a Scottish yarn that really complements the beret style.
Knitted in the round this is a seamless beret.
You will require 2/50g balls of New Lanark DK Wool to complete (shown here in Limestone). The pattern uses approximately 75grams (including for the pom-pom), about 190-210 yards. If substituting with another wool then work to a gauge of 21 stitches and 32 rows = 10cm in stocking stitch using 3.5mm needles.
The ACTUAL HAT is also available for sale and is listed here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/118188199/pom-pom-beret-hand-knit-pure-wool
