This is a pdf format pattern, not the actual crocheted items pictured. (This is my January "Project of the Month", check back for the next one!)
Arty and funky describe this set of scarfettes! If you wish, you can make them as lariats instead of coiled up into the jumble of hearts or shell shapes that you see in the examples. They remind me of sea life, with piles and piles of little discs or, in the case of the hearts pattern, jumbles of Valentine's hearts. Absolutely different and charming, fun as the dickens to wear!
As an extra, the heart scarfette pattern has a variation showing how you can make it into an edging for a blanket or sweater, as well as a thread crochet heart bookmark you can make to give as a Valentine for the little girls in your life. Darling!
You get your download immediately, right at checkout; the first pdf file is this pattern, and the second one you'll see is a bonus "thank you" pattern. I do offer a money-back guarantee of your satisfaction, no questions asked!
Materials you will need will include medium weight yarn and a size F or K aluminum crochet hook; if you want to do the edging or bookmark in thread crochet, you'll need a size 4 steel hook and crochet cotton. You need to know chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch.
The patterns include a key to abbreviations, lots of photos, and, of course, detailed instructions for the very simple projects.
Feel free to make and sell these items, just please do not pass around or reproduce the pattern itself, as it is my own copyrighted design.
