This souvenir is full of scenes from the area including lots of rocky landscapes, natural rock bridges, Navajo trails, natural amphitheaters, treacherous trails, deserted highways, and tourists in possible peril. A geologist's dream!
The cards don't detach but are meant to be mailed together as a souvenir and then opened up accordion style and admired. The cover and postcards are both slick heavy card stock.
It has seven pages with fourteen images, each printed on both sides. Each postcard has a caption. It was published in the 1960's by Mike Roberts Color Production, Berkeley 2, Calif. , for Intermountain Tourist Supply, Salt Lake City, Utah.
The greeting area and address areas are blank. It is in good vintage condition except for some small tears where the envelope flap tucks in.
It would be interesting framed and hung on the wall or just left on a table or shelf accordianed out as shown in the photo above. OR- you could mail it!
There is much beauty in rocks.....here is that proof. Road trip!
