These little lampwork were all shaped in the flame using little mashers. Two sides of each bead has been flattened leaving the edges rounded. They are randomly shaped and sized lampwork chips or nuggets. They range in size from 2.6 - 3.3 mm wide (hole to hole) by about 8.2 - 11.5 mm long or around. They are about 5 - 5.6 mm thick.
There are 75 little beads in all!
These lampwork beads were handmade by me in my home studio on 1/16" mandrels. They have a hole size of about 1.5 mm.
The beads went straight from the flame of the torch into the kiln and were annealed slowly overnight. The holes have been cleaned of excess bead release (the mud that keeps beads from sticking to the mandrel).
