Rose Birds is a whimsical painting of these unusual birds in the cold of the winter as they care for their babies. This is the time of winter when the sky can be glorious but there is frost. Sets of teal and olive green parent birds care for their magic mint green babies in indigo nests. The heavens are pink and rose, streaking into violet and purple, with hints of ivory, cream and white – quite a light show! This is a reminder of our connection to all life and the cycles of nature and the seasons.
