The Molon Labe charm is made from a sturdy 18 gauge 3/4 inch square copper blank. Each charm is individually hand stamped. Hand stamping is not an exact science. It does not produce perfectly uniform results like machine engraving. Variations in letter placement and depth are part of the charm’s unique handmade nature. Each charm will vary slightly. The charm is suspended from a small split ring jump ring for added durability.
The bullet and charm are suspended from a 24 inch stainless steel ball chain necklace. The ball chain can easily be shortened to the length that you prefer. Simply snip off the excess ball chains with scissors or nail clippers. The charm hangs from a small split ring jump ring for added durability.
Yes, these are real bullets. We recycle bullet cases that have been previously fired at a gun range and reload them with bullets using a reload press. The bullets do not contain primers or gunpowder. The lead in the bullets is fully encapsulated in base metal. Etching and variations in color on the cases are from being fired which adds to the interest of the necklace.
