This mounting dates to the 1920's or perhaps 30's, and was likely set with a synthetic sapphire when it was crafted. We've removed the original stone and replaced it with a new, glowing green, Columbian Emerald. The two tones of gold as well as the raised bridge of the ring mean that it will look well on it's own, or paired with a low set band or wedding ring.
Like most of our precious gems, we purchased this stone on location, during one of our many buying trips. This emerald has outstanding color, complimented perfectly by the rich 18k gold of the mounting.
