Crochet Shawl - Mountain Shawl

This shawl is a real one of a kind beauty! It is hand crocheted with my own original pattern. I designed this shawl to fit the human body. It won't bunch behind the neck and on the shoulders as many shawls do. It has a wonderful light feel to it while still being substantial enough to cover you on a chilly evening. It lays flat without blocking and is just so wonderful feeling you won't want to take it off.

I crocheted this shawl using 100% merino wool, sport weight. This is the same yarn I use for my shawl yarn.

I dyed this one after it was crocheted in a graduating pattern of Spring Green. It is very pale at the neck and gets increasingly more saturated as you go down toward the edging.
It is 100% merino wool and measures 32" from the center bottom to the center top and 57" from wing tip to wing tip. The measurements were taken without stretching at all. This shawl fits all adult sizes. The model pictured is 5'7" tall.

This shawl should be hand washed only and laid flat to dry.
