I have since found that it also is great for some smaller digital cameras, ipods, mp3 players or other gadgets.
The longer back ribbon has a swivel hook that attaches to the smaller front ribbon to create a loop. This secures your case to your purse strap, belt loop, etc. The ribbon is long enough to allow the phone to be removed without undoing the hook, but short enough to keep the phone inside.
I normally attach the case to the strap of my purse, and then put it inside my purse. It hangs just far enough inside but doesn’t fall to the bottom, so it is easier to get to when it rings.
Fabric: 100% cotton; blue and tan, part of the surf and sand collection.
The case is lined with a coordinating fabric, and has a lightweight padding to protect your phone or gadget.
