THE LAST PHOTO IS ANOTHER HAORI INCLUDED TO SHOW HOW THESE LOOK WHEN WORN!
It is in excellent condition for its age probably from the 1970's or 1980's, although it has one light spot on a butterfly on the front that I almost missed because it gets lost in all the movement in the pattern. I haven't dry cleaned this and will leave that up to you; often such spots come out on dry cleaning but I do not make any guarantees.
The entire garment is HAND SEWN and Japanese kimono wools are so lightweight they feel like a heavier silk rather than wool. Like Silk kimonos this doesn't wrinkle when folded.
In Japan, this would be worn open and without a belt and so this does not come with a belt; however this has the original woven silk ties (obijime) which I've left on but you may easily remove them if you don't prefer keeping them on..
This is a really pretty kimono & wonderful feeling jacket to wear with jeans or a little black dress and pearls.
Due to the hand sewing, the garment needs somewhat delicate care and I think it is better to have it dry cleaned.
These kimonos or haoris are Recycled Vintage or Antique items and may have small stains, age spots or other spots that I haven't found but I mention any I do find. I have not dry cleaned them unless stated, so if this would be an issue for you then please understand that these are NOT new before purchasing.
These do vary in size and fit smaller than you might expect so Please check the measurements for your fit. Measured on back side - but remember these are worn with a narrow opening between fronts:
pit-to-pit- 22 1/4"
Hip - 22 1/4 "
Length - 29 1/2 "
Note that shipping is estimated and if I have guessed high on shipping to you I will refund any amount charged over the actual cost since I don't try to make a profit on shipping.
