This is an early 19th-century folded copper-engraved print illustrating a sundial.

If the print looks very old, it's because it is. This and other engravings were published in 1806 to illustrate the popular lectures on scientific topics delivered by James Ferguson, member of the Royal Society of London, in the mid 1700s.

The full print is shown in the last photo. Other photos show details from the print.

Foxing (age spots) and shadow impressions (created over time because the print was folded and the two panels were pressed together), as shown in photos. Otherwise in good condition, and with a wonderful patina. Blank on the reverse. Printed on fibrous paper.
