Made by Jacob Schmidt Brewing Co. in St. Paul Mn. Clocks front is plastic and has the look of stained glass. The outter edges of the clock look like wood but again is a plastic material. Schmidt has become a highly collectable brewery brand. clock and light are electric.
This beautiful clock would look great in any bar setting. Unfortunetly, this clock hung in my mothers antique store and it worked when 1st put in but thru the years of hanging in the store and the humidity of the store being closed up, the inner clock workings dont work anymore. the light still lights up when plugged in. This would be an easy fix to install a battery operated mechanism but I didnt do this in case the buyer wanted to fix it back to original. the backing of the clock is a cardboard material of which has also warped because of the humidity in the store. The shade around the light looks like brass but it is not. It also has a small amount of surface rust on it.
No chips or cracks in this piece.
Measurements......18" x 15.......light sticks out from body of clock 4"
