The chain is composed of ruyi (literally "as you wish") knots, which bring good wishes such as luck, fortune, longevity, and prosperity. It is about 15" (38cm) long.
The clasp is made entirely with knots. Just slip the button knot into the loop.
Years of the dragon include: 1904, 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000.
