Description:
This image was a fun little exercise in pure color. The deep magenta rose with yellow-orange edges is aiming up at a sky made up of lemon yellow with a little bice green, contrasted by a cyan background. These vivid colors are entirely composed of brilliant Prismacolor colored pencil on Rives BFK archival paper. The paper is carefully torn on the edges, so it could be framed in a shadow box to show the natural paper, or it could be matted and framed with a mat with a 5" square opening. This piece would make a bold addition to a small space.
