The Hive - wasp nest pearls gold leaf resin real copper silver brooch

I always love being around nature and what better way to be around it by wearing it. I found the wasp dried up in a perfect position one day and saved it. Months later I came upon the hive. They just seemed to fit so perfect together. I added some gold leaf then covered it in resin, and finished it off with some lovely pearls. This piece is not for every day use. Let's just say I wouldn't hug anyone while wearing this brooch. The wings are still fragile even though covered in resin.
