This 18"x24" letterpress print was designed from antique wood type for the National Gallery of Art's 2006 Dada Exhibition. This features a large pointy finger which was one of the elements the dadaists used. We hand typeset our work and it is all hand pulled on cylinder printing presses. This piece is printed in red & black ink on 100% post consumer recycled kraft card stock. They are limited editions - get one while they last... There are 2 posters in this series, the other has a large exclamation point on it. - see my other items for the other design. Thanks Julie
The photo can't do it justice.
The 2006 exhibit was the largest gathering of DADA art in the US since the 1920's. This exhibit toured Paris, New York City, Washington DC, Zurich, Hannover and Berlin.
Thanks for looking. Julie B.
