Very cool embellishments for jewerly making: Molded plastic flowers with great details have a sharp (and I mean SHARP!) pin embedded in the back. Stick one into each side of a window frame to hold the curtains away from the window. A sweet and useful home decor accessory from the 1930's and 1940's.
These are slightly concave and teal blue. Eight spiraling, openwork petals with great dimension. Excellent condition, sturdy and showing no signs of age. 1 & 1\/8" (31 mm) each.
These 6 will do three windows.
Or use as fun vintage thumbtacks.
OR chop off the pointy nail and use for a fabulous focal in jewelry, like a housedress button.
I have a couple of different sets of these coming up soon.
Collected from buttons tins that have passed thru my hands in the last 15 years. Some from original cards.
Haven't done anything with them yet. Time to pass them on.
