Big and beautiful, this bag will fit lots of projects, toys or disorganized messes for a quick clean up :)
The sweater the bag is made from is upcycled, as are almost all of my sewing fabrics.
There is an added pocket in the inside for knitting needles and other small things. It was cut from another sweater and has been lying around waiting for a chance to be useful.
I am a methodical saver of things and I have a box of pockets waiting to get used.
Use this floor bag for: knitting supplies, towels, magazines, TOYS, extra hats and mitts, socks, kindling, diapers, or whatever else you don't know what to do with :)
It also makes a great prop for imaginative play and a toy tote that will make you the envy of your playgroup.
The bag is 14" not counting the handles and 13" across. Adding the handle makes it almost 23" tall.
I made it using 2 layers of sweater and blanket fabric and a layer of extra stiff interfacing.
It stands sturdily by itself.
The handle is handsewn and sculpted to resemble a vine. It has 5 leaves on the one end.
I can see this bag beside a sofa, or in a child's room. You can also easily carry it anywhere else by using the handles.
Hand wash or machine wash on delicate, air dry.
