Manhattan depression glass dishes were produced by Anchor Hocking from 1938 to 1943. Crystal is the most common color. Anchor Hocking produced the Park Avenue pattern in 1987 as a deliberate look-alike for Manhattan. (Those clever marketing people recognized the modern appeal of the old pattern and found a way to capitalize on it.)

Because of the ribbing on the underside of the plate (creating the concentric circle pattern) it is not uncommon for these dishes to get tiny fleabites on the underside of the plate, if not handled carefully. I would hand wash. You may find roughness along the edges from unmolding the plates. Also, because of the ribbing, these plates are heavy. That's a lot of glass making that ribbed pattern.

Either way, this is beautiful vintage/retro glass dinnerware that will look great on your candle lit table! Why not set your table today?

These plates are in good used condition for their age. Expect wear marks from use, and roughness or possible flea bites as described above. PLEASE NOTE: Price is PER DINNER PLATE. They are being sold individually, so you can order exactly what you need. Be sure to see my other items in this pattern to complete your set.

Please see all pictures as they are a vital part of my description. Any props seen in the picture are simply that - props. They are not included with the item for sale. If you have questions, please ask prior to making your purchase.

These plates, along with all my items, ship to the contiguous United States. They will be well packed, but if you have concerns I encourage you to purchase insurance. We do combine shipping when possible - some items make it difficult. As in this case, there are only so many pieces that we can fit in a box due to their weight and delicate nature. If I have grossly misjudged shipping, you will receive a refund after your box has been mailed.
