The wool came from within 30 miles of my home, dyes came from less than a mile from my home.
Two, 2-ply skeins, measuring 78 yds, and weighing over 6 oz.
This organic, natural yarn is a blend of merino, and corriedale cross, in their natural tones.
I also dyed some of the white corriedale in native Toyon. The blend of the natural wool and the native plant dyed roving, make this yarn feel like it popped up straight from the
coastal hillsides of California. (It pretty much did)
The raw ingredients= organic local wool, wild harvested toyon, water, and lots of love.
Toyon is shown in the last picture, during it's berry producing time.
The spin has been set gently in warm water with lavender oil. The yarn will felt.
This yarn is perfect for your next green and conscious knitting project.
