This amazing antique quilt top I purchased was all hand pieced using feedsack and other fabrics. It is a scrappy quilt with over 1600 pieces in the top, comprising of diamonds, squares, trianges, hexagons, etc. I quilted it using a green thread and new fabric on the back. This is a rare quilt to add to your collection. The batting is thin, but with the size and fabrics and quilting done it does make for a heavier quilt. Raw edge binding to go with the vintage feel. The back does have a couple of spots where a tinge of red shows after I washed it. Overall, quilt is exceptional. Very colorful with so many different fabrics and designs to relish in.
