Materials
-The ring is made of recycled sterling silver.
-All of the pieces are formed, soldered, and hammered by me.
-The face of this ring is approximately 3/4 of an inch.
-The face is a button made of plastic, she can get dirty but don't worry clean her with some water and a toothbrush or nailbrush and she will come clean.
-All rings have a patina and tumbled finish.
The Story...
I began working on this series when I was in undergrad studying metalsmithing. I named the collection "Crafted Thought Rings".
The inspirations came when a woman I worked on a radio program with brought in her button collection for me. The collection expanded as I sifted through antique stores, ebay, craft and fabric stores and wherever else I came across buttons. Throughout college I continued to explore and test the boundaries between art and craft within my body of work.
I sold all the original rings at my senior show except the first red flapper which I still wear. Since they were so popular I realized back in 2004 that I should probably make more of these rings and so the collection expanded.
Sizing
-This ring is available in size 4-9 including 1/2 sizes. If you would like a size outside this range please contact me for pricing.

Lead time
-Each piece is made to order so please allow a week for fabrication if you need it sooner please contact me.

-All items are shipped through USPS with delivery confirmation within the US. They are not insured so if you would like to upgrade shipping please ask.
