All lanyards have been made in the “breakaway” style, with reinforced wire wrapped sure grip finger control and magnetic clasp, and strung on Beadalon .015.
While ornamental magnetic clasps are usually cute, cute is not our goal with our breakaway magnetic clasp system. We would rather trade power for pretty, function for frivolity, and deliver a stronger, more reliable lanyard. Even though we have traded pretty for power, our heavy duty magnetic clasp is a special magnet, called a "Rare Earth" also known as Neodymium Iron Boron magnets (NdFeB Grade N40) much stronger than the regular magnetic ornamental clasps available.
Many individuals work in professions where they must wear ID badges, key cards, or passes on their person daily. Many professions that use badges and cards, breakaway lanyards are the only style allowed.
●Our Suregrip finger control is a wire wrapped component with matching beads on wires at the clasp, giving your hands a place from which to hold your lanyard while separating the magnets without adding undo and repetitive stress on the beading line. Each Suregrip component has a series of beads positioned so that the wearer can hold the lanyard in their fingertips comfortably. While all of our lanyards will fit over the head, in some cases it is inappropriate, and our Suregrip wire wrapping will add longevity to the lifetime of your lanyard while attaching and reattaching daily.
Each lanyard comes with a clip-on Plastic sleeve attached, so all you have to do is slip your badge or card into the sleeve and you are good to go!
