This lovely lady comes from surrealist lore. She was the muse to Andre Breton, leader of the surrealist movement in the 1900's. She was the heroine of Breton's novel of the same name. It is unknown whether or not she knew how much of an influence she was to the surrealists or if she knew of Breton's book which was devoted entirely to her and their experiences together. She was considered the queen of 'objective chance,' and surrealists scholars continually search for more knowledge of her.
