Black and White and Red All Over Denim Rag Bag

These unique bags are wonderful for carrying LOTS of stuff in style! I rarely keep things for myself when I make them and I kept the first one of these bags I ever created. It works wonderfully to carry anything and everything around in!

I started out by making quilted denim/flannel rag quilts and one night when I was almost to sleep I thought, “Wow, that would make a super neat bag!” I drew a sketch of what was in my head before I fell asleep and…here is my creation!

I used recycled denim, flannel and scrap cotton to create this bag. I then took three strips of the denim/flannel/cotton and braided a long strap for over-the-shoulder carrying purposes. A magnetic clasp is on the side to close the bag up.

Bag Dimensions: Approximately 14.5” x 14” x 3” with 47” straps
