This is a 12oz cup (with what we like to call our 'old school' handle); measurements are: 4 1/4 inches in diameter & 3 1/4 inches in height; nice and thick weighing in at a wee bit over 1 lb.
Porcelain claybody, the thin lines were painted using a light turquoise blue/baby blue underglaze; the creamy whitish colour you see is the natural claybody under the clear glaze. The Viking sewing machine decals were screened using black overglaze and Print Gocco, and fired onto the ware.
