This vintage sewing machine, with its attached foot-pedal, is in complete working order, right down to the light. The old white belt was ruined and since we had to replace the belt (which is now black), we had the professionals clean her out and give her a complete check-up to make sure she was ready to be put to work again -- and now she is!
Marked model 221 K, Made In Great Britain. Has the CAK 8-8 Singer sewing motor. This is often referred to as the 221K7. Circa 1964 (EV serial number).
We believe the pale turquoise carrying case to be original; but that is unknown. Included in the case were some Singer attachments, bobbins, etc., and a *copy* of the Singer booklet. All of these are included with your purchase of this working classic Singer.
This authentic vintage sewing machine has modest signs of wear / age, including some discoloration near the throat plate. The case has chips, scuffs, cracks, etc., but is holding together and the handle can be used to carry it when the machine and accessories are inside it.
Please view photos and ask questions prior to making your purchase, thank you. (If you need additional photos, let us know!)
All in all, the case measures roughly 12 1/4 by 8 1/2 by 10 3/4 inches.
