This skirt is made with a mountain of Bridal tulle. The top two layers are heavily pleated black bridal tulle that have been sliced into individual strips from floor to hip, to give it a trashy look but retain the durability of a sewn skirt (never tied). The bottom layer of tulle is blood red and it has been sliced to calf length. I also tied a few random knots in the tulle.
All of the tulle has been stitched and serged to the waistband so it's extremely durable. Plus it's safe for the washing machine and dryer.
Even though this skirt is very full and pouffy; tulle is very sheer. So, I added a black underskirt that keeps it from being see-through!
