Once its own city, Brooklyn is now the largest of the five New York boroughs. First settled by Dutch colonists who named the area, it is currently home to over 2.5 million culturally and ethnically diverse residents. Working as the western "nose" of Long Island, Brooklyn is the eastern edge of the mouth of Hudson River.
This is an original, layered papercut piece, handmade in Minnesota, and featuring the iconic curves and shapes of the Brooklyn/Upper New York Bay area.
This unique piece is intricately cut from five layers of high quality, acid-free cardstock. The top layer is a bright white, while the layers underneath are in ever-darker shades of color (this one is in the Royal Blue set). The back is titled, signed and dated as an original piece.
The work measures 8 x 10 inches (about 20 x 25 cm), and is about 1/8" thick. It will be sent to you carefully wrapped and supported to ensure it arrives safely.
