This is another in my series of dropped stitch cable knit scarf patterns.
I just love the new knitwear that was shown at fashion week with the big chunky cables and openwork. But being on the short and fluffy side, not only can I not pull of a dress with chunky cables, a chunky sweater is out of the question. Then I began to think about how Miranda in “The devil wears Prada” explains to Andy how the blue color of her sweater is the result of designs that had been shown the previous season on the runway. So, I took the inspiration from the over the top cable dress and turned it into a little bit of Haute Couture that I can wear and still have an extra slice of pie after a holiday dinner.
