With recycled cardboard, wire hangers from the dry cleaner, and odds and ends you most likely already have around the house, you will construct a functional washer and dryer that is adorable and remarkably sturdy. The washer features doors with see-through windows (no worries, they're plexi-glass - nothing dangerous!), hinged doors, and a set of controls to spark the imagination.
Corrugated cardboard is an incredibly strong and durable material (no wonder Frank Lloyd Wright built furniture out of it!), yet is at the same time very lightweight and portable. This washer and dryer combo maximizes those qualities by being able to always be disassembled and reassembled in minutes! No glue, no nails, no screws - instead, it is held together with a few clever joins that I designed.
