The interior has a substantial glass insert, the base (photo 5) and the inside of the lid (photo 4) have a paper label as shown. I have not attempted to remove the glass insert, and am not certain if it was meant to be removed. There is age appropriate wear and patina as shown in detailed photos.
Height: 10-1/2 inches tall to top of brass stem, approximate width across is 9 inches (22.8 cm). This is a heavy, substantial piece!
The lid fits snugly.
