You'll be ready for summer with this lovely 1950s re-made skirt! The perfect garment for those summer holidays, romantic walks on the beach, picnics in the park and drive in movie dates. You'll find yourself reaching again and again for this gorgeous little lady!

Skirt is yellow, red, black and deep orange in color. There are some GREAT features: yellow and maroon beading as well as RHINESTONES adorn the bottom 6 inches!! There are a few rhinestones on the waistband, too. Skirt is pleated at waist.

This skirt was originally a 1950s dress. Alas, the former owner put some serious wear and tear on the bodice of the dress, but (luckily) left the skirt in great condition. A little altering later, and we have the skirt, minus the bodice! I created a narrow waistband using some of the bodice and have put in a zipper and hook/bar closure at the back of the skirt. She's ready to head out on the town again!

Waist to Hem: 26 3/4 inches

Skirt could be worn with a full petticoat, to give more volume. Please note that first three pictures feature the skirt over a crinoline (crinoline is NOT part of sale), fourth picture shows the skirt without the crinoline.

Hand wash or dry clean only--you wouldn't want those beads and rhinestones to get lost!
