This handmade straw mad hatter style straw hat is hand blocked and sewn from twisted seagrass straw. Also called Lilly, she is known for her spontaneous fits of joy and sometimes does pirouettes for seemingly no reason. The band is linen and the flower is made from a one of a kind vintage handkerchief. THIS IS NOT THE FLOWER THAT WILL BE ON YOUR HAT. The style is the same, but each flower is made from a different handkerchief. I will match the flower to the band. I can send a photo of the flower once it is made for your approval. I have always loved old hankies. They are symbolic of a time when beauty lived in the smallest details of a woman's life. I am delighted to give these gems a new lease on life. This hat is made to order. Please allow one week before shipping and specify head size.
