I have collected matryoshka dolls since I first went on holidays to Eastern Europe. Growing up in the U.S. I was always fascinated with the Eastern Block communist countries. "The enemy" as the propaganda fueled education I received had portrayed the USSR in my 80's childhood. It was so exciting the first time I went behind the now defunct Iron Curtain! As an adult I am now a very independent minded person, but I still have funny very dated ideas about the evils of communism lurking in my head I suppose its hard to turn your back on the years of brainwashing I had in school! I would imagine that kids today have the same fears and worried drilled into them regarding the Middle East what I want to know is "Why Cant We All Just Get Along?"
