This beetle is in the family Scarabaeidae - the famous scarab beetles. It is a tropical species from Ethiopia. Many beetles in this family have ornate horns on their head or thorax, this one has modest adornments compared to other species.

The last photo of this listing shows an actual specimen - it is a photo I took at an insect collection, which served as my inspiration.
